MG Web Designs is a partnership of two friends living in Bardon Mill - Paul Mingard and Steve Gibbon. Bardon Mill lies in Rural Northumberland, England.
Paul has extensive design and media experience having worked in the film industry and latterly supporting his wife’s art business with design and marketing expertise. Paul has built a number of web sites for business and personal use including, most pertinently his own site www.hawthorncottageindustry.fsnet.co.uk.
Steve has spent 25 year in the IT industry and designed very large computer systems for industry, banking and Government organisations. He has worked extensively on information systems including those involving web based businesses. Steve has also built a number of web sites for personal use including his own home page http://www.btinternet.com/~stephen.gibbon/ . He also maintains his sailing club’s award winning web site http://www.kielderwatersc.org/index.html which he is currently redesigning to include many new additional dynamic features for an even better user experience.
Together Steve and Paul have recently built a community web site for the two Parishes within which they live, Bardon Mill and Henshaw. This is the first version of the web site, www.bardonmillandhenshaw.org.uk, and is quite extensive. Steve and Paul are already looking at significant improvements and enhancements to this site after its initial launch in March 2007. These include a virtual village history tour and pages for the newly formed Rainbow, Brownie and Guide troop in the village, as well as additional user configuration capabilities.
