This child friendly sub-site is targetted at both parents and children. It is designed to attract recruits to the Rainbows Group as well as serve as a record of their aims and activities.
Local Heritage group
As a group of local residents in Henshaw and Bardon Mill we are surrounded by, and hence have interest in, a wealth of heritage and history dating back to Roman times and before. This includes buidings, artefacts, industry, mining and railways to name just a few areas.
The Local Heritage web site provides easy access to all of this information and also details abut the group.
TVRUG - Tyne Valley Rail Users' Group
Picture an inviting railway journey set in a wide wooded valley. Salmon and Trout jump from the water, as the train glides along the valley bottom, birds call from the trees and shooting stars fly across the black night sky. Nestling in the Tyne Valley valley is the delight that is one of the best railways journeys you can take. This is the background for the Tyne Valley Rail Users' Group |
